SpringBeauty Tag Tutorial

YOU MAY USE THIS TUTORIAL TO CREATE TAGS FOR YOURSELF, FRIENDS, OR GROUPS YOU ARE IN.

Supplies Needed
Summer Joy by Creations By Sanie This is a PTU kit you can find HERE
I am using the wonderful artwork of Jose Cano
Do not use unless you have purchased the tube.
You can find his artwork HERE @ MPT.
Muras Copies (this is a free plugin you can find online)
and of course pspThis tutorial is made under the assumption that you have a basic understanding of Paintshop Pro x2 any version should work.
TUTORIAL
Open you psp start a new document 600x600 px
Open SJ_element 49
Copy and paste as new layer on your new document, close the original.
Resize the flower until it is a little over an inch big and move as close to the center as you can.Now you need to go to effects-plugins-Muras Meisters-Copies
use these settings

Now open SJ_Element 16
This is a green flower
Copy and paste as a new layer on to the new document.
Close the original, Resize the green flower until it is smaller then the pink one, place as close to the center as you can like so

Use Muras Copies again use these settings now

Arrange the layer if you need to so that the green flowers run along the center of the pink flowers.

Now open up SJ Element 10
This is the green frame.
Angle and positions it until it looks like the finished tag.
Open up a couple of extra elements and decorate around the frame.
Use your magic wand and click inside the frame, Make sure the frame is your highlighted layer when you use the magic wand.
Now click on your Pink Flower layer and hit delete once on your keyboard.
Now you can add a drop shadow to each layer.
and then merge visible.
Pick a paper of choice and add it as the background.
Use your selection tool to draw out a circle in the center of your paper invert selections and hit delete once on your computer.
arange it so that you dont see any paper on the outside.
Insert tube of choice Before you resize it you need to duplicate it and hide the original, on the duplicated tube draw out a circle with the selections tool and feather about 24 px.
Click on the move tool and click in your selection
this will promote the selection to a layer all it own.
Move that layer below the frame but above the paper layer arrange so that it fits in the frame.
Unhide the original tube and resize to fit.
Ass drop shadow to the tube.
Add copy right Merge visible,
Add your name and save as psp so that you can add more names to the tag later.
Also save a copy of the final tag as png or jpeg so that you can share your new tag.

Easter Blessings Tag Tutorial

supplies needed:

Bright Easter by: Designing Scraps
this is a ptu scrap kit you can find HE RE @ scrappin with friends
Paint shop pro
Alien skin Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow (plugin) optional.
Tube of choice
I am using the fairy that comes with the kit.

The level required to complete this tag is BEGINNER

TUTORIAL

Open your psp
create new document 600x600 px

Open the fallowing elements.Frame of choice
I am using BrightEater Circle frame 2
Copy and close the frame.
Now in your New Document go to edit and paste as new layer.
Resize the frame i am leaving a little more then an inch of blank spaces on the sides and top and bottom.
Arrange your frame as close to the middle as you can.
Now we are going to turn it into a cluster frame with some elements from the scrap kit.

I am going to use the pink and white bunched ribbon
The white flowers and the pink flowers
and the pink button with the flower inside it.
The pink bunny holding the white pillow.

Copy and paste each element to the frame
Resize to fit you should have something close to this now.
You will have to duplicate the buttons and flowers to show like mine.
IGNORE THE STRAIGHT RIBBON I TOOK THAT OFF THE FINAL TAG.

Add a drop shadow to each element i used a light one 34 opacity pulled a little to the left.
Merge the elements together do not merge them to the frame leave that on its own layer.
Now you should have two layers the one with all the elements merged together and one with the frame.

Open your paper of choice i am using the pink paper with white dots NOT CRUMPLED.
Copy and paste as new layer.
Re size until you have something you like in the center of the frame i made mine a square a little bigger then the frame.

Use your magic wand and make sure the frame layer is your active layer (higlighted in the layers palette)
Click with your magic wand anywhere in the outside of the frame.
Go to selections invert.
Make your paper layer the active layer click on it in the layers palette.
Hit delete once on your keyboard.
Now your paper should only be in the center of the frame and nowhere else.

You can now add a drop shadow onto your fame now and merge visible.
Add your tube of choice. I am using the flying fairy from the kit BRIGHT EASTER.
Copy and paste as new layer close the original.

Merge visible again. Now you can add the word art and your name.
Use whatever font and write Easter Blessings place on top. Convert to raster and add a gradient glow. Same steps with your name. And you can even add the gradient glow to your copyright too.
Make sure you add the copy right. in this case
it is ©DNscraps
http://designingscraps.blogspot.com

Save it as a png or jpeg whichever you prefer and you have your finished tag.

Hello wanted to let you all know that as you can see I did a little revamping to my blog!!!! For some reason my followers is not showing up not a big deal but just wanted to let everyone know that I might have to delete it and start over so you might have to re fallow lol!!! Now for your sneak peek here is a new kit that I will be uploading to 1 store exclusivley so be on the look out for the link to that store!!! This is my biggest kit yet with a total of 12 papers and 40 elements I am very proud of it this is a ptu kit!!!!
